Shaheed Bhagat Singh
Bhagat Singh is one of the most prominent faces of India’s fight for independence. He gave a new direction to the nationalist movement in India and inspired thousands of Indians in their fight against the British Raj.
Bhagat Singh belonged to a Sikh family of revolutionary leaders. At a very young age, Bhagat Singh decided to dedicate his life for the service of his country. He charged into the struggle for India’s freedom and joined great revolutionaries like Chandra Shekhar Azad and Ram Prasad Bismil.Being a fearless soul, Bhagat Singh remained unmoved during the various hardships imposed upon him by the British. He never failed in spreading his vision of free India even at the time when he was imprisoned.
In the short span of 24 years, Bhagat Singh inspired millions with his heroic battles and continues to be India’s youth icon.
